Maggie Agnew's big melted hoops are made from 925 sterling silver, handmade and cast in NYC. The shape looks like metal that was softened and left to settle. The surface is uneven, the outline is slightly faceted, and no two pairs will be exactly alike. A hinged post closes each hoop at the top.
Maggie is a Brooklyn designer who also works the bar at Million Goods. Her pieces pair modern minimalism with organic, sculptural forms, and these are a good example.
They measure about 1.25 inches in diameter. That is big enough to read as a statement, but they stay light enough to wear all day. Wear them on their own with a plain tee or a crisp shirt. They work for any gender and look best when the rest of the outfit stays quiet.
