Sun Buddies is the eyewear line from Swedish retailer Très Bien. The first frame took its cue from the glasses Bibi Andersson wore in Bergman's Persona. The Hideo is handmade, in a wide, geometric acetate frame with a flat top and a squared shape.
The frame has a mottled pattern of smoky blue, grey and brown, with small metal rivets at the temples. The lenses are a warm brown tint. The pattern is busy up close, but from a distance it reads as a soft tortoiseshell.
It's a unisex frame and sits wide across the face. Wear it with plain basics, like a white tee or a work jacket, and let the frame do the talking.
