Sun Buddies makes premium unisex eyewear for the Swedish fashion retailer Très Bien. The original frame was inspired by the sunglasses Bibi Andersson wears in Ingmar Bergman's film Persona. The line took off when friends and colleagues in fashion started wearing them.
The Pyle is a wide, geometric frame with softly squared lenses and a thick front. The marbled finish runs in smoky taupe and cream streaks, with a clear layer at the temples. The lenses are a dark grey. The inside of the frame is marked Handmade, and the frames are made in acetate.
