Argyle has a reputation for dusty attics and older relatives. COOR takes it somewhere newer. This cardigan has a charcoal ground with pale gray diamonds, picked out with fine black lines. The surface is soft and a little hairy, which keeps the pattern from looking sharp or preppy.
It has a spread collar, a full button front and ribbed cuffs and hem. The collar makes it read halfway between a cardigan and a knit polo. The argyle runs in panels down each side and across the shoulders, leaving the center placket plain.
It sits at the hip with a relaxed body and sleeves. Wear it buttoned up on its own, or open over a plain tee. Black trousers or dark denim let the pattern do the work.
The model is wearing size M.
